Well done to our 6th class pupils who represented Scoil an Athar Tadhg at the Lifetime Lab Science Quiz at UCC on the 12th of November. Our two teams of Hannah, Lewis, Carrie and Daniel, Emma and Oliver demonstrated a huge array of knowledge across the spectrum of science. Our teams utilised their awareness of biology, chemistry and physics across eight rounds of the quiz. Even though we did not win the quiz, all pupils and parents enjoyed the night and learned a few interesting facts. For example, we all now know that a bee has five eyes! I am sure that some members of our quiz team will go on to have a bright future in the field of science in years to come.
