Edel, Grace and Orla (past pupil) from MSD, Brinny, visited Scoil an Athar Tadhg today. Our 6th Class pupils were treated a fun, informative and interactive presentation based on engineering.
We explored the various different types of engineering - mechanical, electrical, chemical, civil and structural engineering etc.
We also learned about the important work that MSD do in the research and manufacturing of medication and vaccines to keep people safe and healthy.
Thanks to MSD, Edel, Grace and Orla for their informative presentation. Scoil an Athar Tadhg is sure to produce future engineers. They may even work in MSD, just like Orla!
